Spring Concert for the School Community “Lyra’s Spring Prelude”
As every year, the “Lyra” Music School invited everyone to immerse themselves in an inspiring celebration of music!
Becoming a cherished tradition of the Christmas season and springtime, these joint concerts unite the school’s students and teachers, gifting the audience with unforgettable moments.
On April 27 at 12 PM, the “Lyra’s Spring Prelude” festive concert took place at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, filled with moving melodies, spring energy, and heartfelt emotions. The event was hosted by TV and radio presenter Gerūta Griniūtė.
The atmosphere in the hall was festive – everyone dressed up, warm applause echoed throughout, and the stage and venue were adorned with blooming flowers. The concert featured performances by school choirs, ensembles, piano duets, soloists, and students and teachers from various specializations. More than 350 students and 50 teachers took part in the concert program. The sounds of music filled the spring day with warmth, joy, and a special sense of togetherness.
We sincerely thank the school’s educators who prepared the students, supported their performances, and helped behind the scenes. We thank the students’ parents for their patience, adaptability, understanding, and time spent transporting children to rehearsals for this concert. Your support, warmth, and sense of community were invaluable!
We also extend our gratitude to representatives of the Vilnius City Municipality and directors of Vilnius music schools for their attention and support. Thank you to everyone who attended this special event and generously applauded our young musicians.
A special and heartfelt thank you goes to the students of “Lyra” Music School – for every step, every effort, and every note played and sung together. Your dedication and teamwork were the most beautiful highlight of this event. The students are the school’s greatest treasure!
