String Instruments Specialization

The String Instruments Specialization invites students to learn how to play the violin, viola, cello, double bass, or classical guitar. Students who choose these instruments perform both solo and in ensembles (violin ensemble, the school’s general orchestra, guitar ensemble, and various chamber ensembles).
The String Instruments Specialization organizes festivals, competitions, and thematic concerts such as “Allegretto,” “Perpetuum Mobile,” “Lyra,” “And I Know This Melody,” “The Violin is My Friend,” “Let’s Play Together,” and many others.
Students actively participate in school-organized events, educational projects, perform in city schools and kindergartens, and take part in festivals and competitions.
The specialization is led by highly qualified, experienced, and actively performing educators.
The curator of the String Instruments Specialization is senior teacher Mirolanda Patricija Januškevičienė.
